Cyclone's coming!

Howdy guys - happy new year to you all!! Apparently there is a cyclone on the way but you wouldn't know it - the weather feels hot and steamy as usual and everyone is going about their business as usual. Perhaps Todd and I will be the same after this one comes through but at the moment it is all a bit exciting!

We just had a superb holiday in Broome - loved it so much that we are now contemplating living up there after Hedland. We are planning to have next christmas there already so if any of you can get there it will be even better. There was coffee (yes even in the heat I drink coffee!), beer (Matso's Brewery was fantastic), fishing for Todd, the beach and swings for Seth and most importantly shops - even toyworld. We lashed out and got a babysitter so Todd and I went out for tea and then went to the movies. It felt like a date really cause it is a long, long time since we've been out together by ourselves. We were particularly nervous about getting a babysitter though - the girl was lovely but we were both having thoughts about kidnappings and babies being sold! I spose it was sort of natural because that it the first time we had anyone who wasn't a relative / close friend look after him but still!!

So I'll go now and keep trying to get all my jobs done before the cyclone comes - if it ever does! Take care and start planning how you are going to get to Broome for next christmas!!
